The Brazilian shot-stopper is getting ready to begin his fourth campaign with the Olimpico-based side and he is confident of glory.
Doni believes that by signing just two more players, his side will be capable of Scudetto and Champions League success.
“We have shown great things over the last to seasons,” Doni told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
“We are convinced that we can do better but we need two more players to come in.
“We want to fight for the Scudetto and go as far as possible in the Champions League.
“Baptista? I know him well, he’s a great player and he would be a good addition to our team.”
The Giallorossi just missed out on lifting the Scudetto last term when the title race went down to the wire.
Roma have been playing second fiddle to Inter for too long and no doubt Doni will be hoping the roles are reversed this season.
